University College of Law Bangalore University was established in 1948 by Government of Mysore. The college of Law was firstly affiliated by University of Mysore but after the establishment of Bangalore University the college was become a part of Bangalore University and which was named as University of Law College. University Law College has been consistently organizing National Moot Court Competitions besides being actively involving in the regular National Level Law Festivals, Legal Aid & Legal Literacy programmes. It has a Post Graduate Department of Studies in Law and has been offering One Year LL.M programme in Corporate and Commercial Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law and Human Rights and Labour and Employment Law from the academic year 2014-15.
